Repair Creation

I subscribe to a daily email service from www. inwardoutward.org.   I find it in my email box every morning.  I highly recommend it.

Inward/Outward provides a spiritual quotation every day.  Today*s quotation is from Rabbi Lawrence Kushner:

When you see something that is broken, fix it. When you find something that is lost, return it. When you see something that needs to be done, do it. In that way, you will take care of your world and repair creation.

Consider this:

So often we get all bollixed up with assigning blame when it would be a heck of a lot easier to fix it, return it, or do it.  Sometimes (probably often) it is not for us to teach the responsibility lesson.  This is one I have to learn over and over again.
